X-pilots Mexico

Mike will be in Tijuana, Mexico this weekend for the X-pilots contest. He flew down from Idaho just in time to pick up a bike from KTM motorcycles, drop by our service shop in Murrieta, and hit the road to cross the boarder. Check out Metz putting on his Easton Bars and Acerbis plastic with the Metzger graphic kit already installed. We made some MetzgerUnlimited.com and Factory Freestyle decals for the back number plates. Look for Mike this weekend and stop by and say hello. You can also see more news at FMXLIFE.com the number one source for everything action sports. The other riders include former Factory Freestyle Rider Wiley Fulmer, and Metal Mulisha's own Taka. There are also several other riders and we will have a full update with photos after the weekend.

This was a street demo earlier this year that the guys from the Metzger Unlimited Factory Freestyle Team put on in Long Beach, Ca. Not only is Metz a pioneer in FMX, he also has a full on Freestyle team that can show up at any type of event and bring more exposure and entertainment to the masses. Watch as the Factory Freestyle Team tears it up in Long Beach.

Boost Mobile Comp May 15th 2009

What a great night of FMX competition in Victorville, Ca for the Boost Mobile aerial assault tour. To the crowds surprise along with the event promoter’s, FMX riders and of coarse the fans. The Godfather of FMX, Mike Metzger showed up for a fun spirited night of competition. With some of the other greats of the sport on hand including Jeff “OX” Kargola, Nixey Danielsen, Derek Burlew, John & Robert Distler, Matt Buyten, James Carter, Scotty Stephens and Julian D’Usseau. It was sure to be one night of awesome competition, and would be an early gauge of the legends form, as he makes his way back to the top of the sport after a massive back injury he sustained two years ago.
Sure the crowd was pumped to see Metz back on the bike, but would he be able to compete against such a talented group of riders? The answer was an easy YES to those who have been following “The Godfathers” journey back to recovery, but to those who have not yet seen, they would just have to SEE to believe, which they did! Here is just a sample of what they saw. Check back daily to see when “The Godfather” of FMX will be coming to a town near you!
Peace,
Will "Sharpie" Nielsen
