Mike Metzger & Sensory Overload Tour team up

Mike Metzger announced his involvement with the 31 stop Sensory Overload Tour following North Americas predominant motorsports series. Metz will be on hand hosting the event and TV show Sensory Overload TV, airing on the Speed TV Network. But most importantly, and I am sure the fans would agree, performing the crowd pleasing acrobatics he is known so well for on his bike, in true Metzger style. In addition, Metzgers team will be on hand performing Freestyle Motocross, BMX freestyle, and 50cc Pitbike Freestyle, for the fans. The riders include Mike Metzger, Jesse Jolson, Jeff Griffin, Aaron Johnson , Houston Harmsen, and Steven Bafus.

The opportunity to Brand the Metzger Unlimited Freestyle Team with the efforts of the Sensory Overload Tour was unexpected this season, but is an opportunity when presented to me, I had no doubt in my mind we wanted to be involved in full on. SOT’s work in bringing freestyle motocross, bmx, 50cc minis and music to NASCAR, and the other major motorsports series of North America and the world will be an incredible outlet for all, and we are excited to be involved. I know the Metzger team can continually provide to all the fans of SOT and motorsports a show they will all long remember and continue to come back each year to see again. Says Metzger.

Metzger at Oakley

Its pretty safe to say that Mike Metzger, the undisputed Godfather of freestyle and one of the sports most respected stars, is not satisfied with sitting still. After a career packed with X-games medals, world record back flips, and plenty of surprises, you would think that Metzger would be content to relax a little bit, but this just is not the case. The godfather has been working his tail off to design and produce artwork for his apparel company and a new Oakley goggle release that is scheduled for late this year. Heres a spy photo that I took at Oakley.

A Metzger Original

This is an original painting that Mike recently finished and sold. He calls this one "The Drip". After 4 years of progress he had a hard time parting with it. But someone wanted it bad so he let it go. This goes down as the first of many originals that he has sold.

To get a reprint of this or any of Mike's original paintings visit his shop in Murrieta, CA or go to the online store and take a look.
