How did you get Started in BMX: My pops used to take me to the race track when I was little. After racing for a few years, I started going to jumps by my house trying to send it! the rest is history.
How did you end up being Metzger's only BMX rider: I always looked up to Mike as a youngster. Last summer I won the Freeflow Tour and the week after I was sitting down with Metz and getting hooked up with his signature clothes. From that point I hung out with Metz and the crew out at Paradise Ranch. I also have been helping out at the Metzger Unlimited headquarters doing some web stuff and anything else that B. Roberts writes on my A-list. Brandon don't worry Wes and I did this after work hours.
I hear your supplyin' the action sports celebs with designer jeans, what's that all about?: pretty much just on the grind trying to get money to pay for bikes, gas, and everything I need to fulffil my dream. I teamed up with my boy Scotty (Stephens), and between the two of us we have sold to guys like Mike Metzger, Todd Potter, Dan Reardon, Julian Dessau, Ronnie Faisst just to name a few.
What are your plans 2009: To get out of the designer jean biz, and make it all happen on my bike. I have been working hard for the upcoming contest season. This will be my first year as a pro rider. I have the best trainer (Charles Dao-Icon Sports) and the group of sponsors backing me. I don't want to let them or myself down!
